Our fears about joining a group turned out to be false. The day of our group ended up being the day of the week we all looked forward to most!

Initially my husband and I were nervous about joining a group because we already had a very hectic schedule and feared we would be taking on too much. We decided to join anyway because we were seeking connections with other Christ followers. A sermon led by Pastor John in the weeks before really spoke to us about the importance of making positive connections. The message was about how I need other Christ followers in my life, and they need me in theirs.

Our fears about joining a group turned out to be false. The day of our group ended up being the day of the week we all looked forward to most! This even included our six year old son. We were happy to see that everyone in our group was roughly around our same age and at the same point in their lives as our family. We all laughed during game nights, had great conversations, and shared delicious meals together. Since joining, we feel more connected to Crossroads through its followers. We are greeted by familiar and friendly faces and have seen our son make friends with a lot of the other children in our group. It is an experience we definitely plan to do again.
