Ministries we partner with in the Toledo area:
- God Works
God Works is a ministry that provides meals for those in our area that are in need. We host a meal every Thursday at 6pm right here at Crossroads.
- Family Promise
Family Promise provides short-term housing in local churches for homeless families with children, and works to help the parents find employment. We provide meals and sleeping accomodations in the Collingwood Presbyterian Church for a week at a time.
- Food Donations and Food Drop
One of the ways we provide practical help for people in our area is to donate food. WE do this by supporting local fod banks, as well as partnering with other local churches, once ayear, to have a "food drop" where we purchase and distribute food in a "drive-through" style, to those who need it.
- FOCUS (Family Outreach Community United Services)
FOCUS is an organiztion working to end homelessness in Toledo. They do this through offering transitional and permanent housing as well as lifend job skills training. Currently we are working with FOCUS to take teams to renovate apartments in Toledo as housing those in the program.
- Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission
TGRM is the first line of help for those taht are homeless in Toledo. They provide for the most basic needs, like warm meals, housing, and clothes, as well as a message of hope each night. Currently we partner to provide a meal the second Tuesday of each month and would love to have you join us.
- Angel Tree
Angel Tree is a project we do at Christmas to provide gifts for local families who are in need. It's easy as taking a tag (with a gift request) and purchasing a gift. Or you could help by delivering the gifts. What an amazing way to show compsssion at Christmas.
-Natural Disaster Relief
As needed, teams are sent to areas affected by Natural Disasters for rebuilding and/or clean-up.
